Service

Seasonal & Project Teams

Not every support problem is permanent. Peak season, a product launch, a migration, a backlog, a compliance deadline — these need trained people for a defined window and a clean exit afterwards. We run these as projects with a start date, an end date and a wind-down plan agreed before anyone is recruited.

Delivered by a dedicated team

What the team handles

Seasonal & Project Teams

  • Peak and seasonal cover — holiday trading, tax season, enrolment, campaign spikes
  • Launch and migration support, including temporary second-language or extended hours
  • Backlog clearance scoped separately from steady-state volume
  • Overflow capacity that only takes contacts above an agreed threshold
  • Outbound project work — win-back, renewals, data cleanup, verification calls
  • Ramp-up, run and wind-down against dates fixed in the statement of work

Scope is confirmed with you during the design stage and written into the operating plan before the team goes live.

Measurement

Metrics usually agreed for this service

Targets are set with you before launch. These are the measures the conversation normally starts from — the numbers attached to them are yours to define.

  • 01

Days from signed scope to first live contact

    Target set per client

  • 02

Volume cleared against the project target

    Target set per client

  • 03

    Quality score held through ramp

    Target set per client

  • 04

Cost per contact for the project window

    Target set per client

  • 05

    Handover completeness at wind-down

    Target set per client

Reporting cadence, escalation thresholds and the review meeting rhythm are agreed alongside the targets themselves.

Practical questions about seasonal & project teams

The questions buyers ask once the brochure stage is over.

How short can a project be?
One month is the practical floor, because training has to happen before anyone touches a customer. Under that, the ramp costs more than the cover is worth, and we will tell you so rather than take the work.
How far ahead do you need to know?
Lead time depends on team size and how much product training the work needs. We agree it during scoping and put it in writing — dropping untrained people into a queue during your busiest week is how peak seasons go wrong.
What happens at the end?
A wind-down date is set at the start. Open cases are handed back with notes, macros and documentation stay with you, access is revoked, and there is no rolling notice period you have to remember to cancel.
Can a project become permanent?
Often it does, and that is a decision at the review date rather than a default. If the volume turns out to be structural rather than seasonal, converting project seats to a standing team is straightforward because the training already exists.
